STIHL 021 023 025 MS210 MS230 MS250 Switch Shaft Contact Spring

Throttle switch shaft contact spring fits Stihl 021, 023, 025, MS210, MS230 and MS250 chainsaws. The contact spring is the small metal spring within the throttle switch shaft assembly that maintains electrical contact between the switch and the ignition circuit. When the spring is fatigued, deformed or broken, the switch may fail to ground the ignition correctly, resulting in the engine being impossible to stop or difficult to start. Replacing a worn contact spring restores reliable ignition cut-off function without the need to replace the entire switch assembly.
