OLEO-MAC 725 BV126 SP126 Complete Gasket Set

The Gasket Genius complete gasket set is made for Oleo-Mac 725, BV126 and SP126 strimmers, trimmers and brushcutters, containing one crankcase gasket, one cylinder gasket, one exhaust muffler gasket and two carburettor gaskets. A properly sealed crankcase is what lets this two-stroke engine draw in and compress its fuel-air mixture; the cylinder gasket keeps combustion pressure contained at the cylinder-to-crankcase joint; the muffler gasket holds in exhaust gases and backpressure; and the carburettor gaskets stop outside air from entering anywhere except through the carburettor’s own metering circuits. These are also the exact points a top-end rebuild opens up, and reusing an old, hardened or torn gasket at any one of them tends to come back as hard starting, weak compression, an exhaust leak, or a hunting idle.
