MCCULLOCH CS35 PARTNER 340S 350S 360S Chainsaw Bumper Spike / Felling Dog With Bolts

This bumper spike / felling dog fits McCulloch CS35 and Partner 340S, 350S, 360S chainsaws, replacing part number 574225601. The bumper spike is the toothed metal spur mounted at the front of the saw body, near the guide bar, giving the operator a pivot point to brace against the wood during cutting and helping control the saw as it’s tilted through a cut. When the spike bends, its teeth wear down, or it breaks off its mount, the saw loses that stable pivot point, making it harder to control the cut and increasing operator effort and fatigue. Fitting a replacement restores a solid pivot point for controlled cutting.
