Middle anti-vibe (AV) mount / spring set fits Echo CS-352, CS-353 (ES) and Shindaiwa 340S chainsaws. These AV springs sit at the middle mounting point between the engine unit and the handle assembly, absorbing engine vibration so it isn’t transmitted directly into the operator’s hands. When a spring stretches, cracks, or breaks, vibration damping at that mounting point is lost, which can cause the handle to feel loose or excessively vibratory during use, and over time places extra strain on the surrounding mounting points. Fitting a replacement spring set restores proper vibration isolation between the engine and handle assembly.
