Fuel tank mount / support (type 2) fits many strimmers, trimmers and brushcutters. The fuel tank mount is a bracket that secures the petrol tank to the engine unit, keeping it correctly positioned during operation. This is the type 2 variant — different in shape and fixing profile from the type 1 mount listed for the same machine category.

A cracked or broken tank mount allows the fuel tank to move under vibration, putting stress on the fuel pipe connections and accelerating wear at the tank fixing points. Fitting a replacement restores correct fuel tank retention and protects the fuel system from vibration damage.
