PATRIOT BP 41 Chainsaw Complete Cylinder & Piston Kit

Complete cylinder & piston kit fits Patriot BP 41 and many other chainsaws. The kit pairs the cylinder — which houses the combustion chamber and provides the bore the piston travels within — with a matching piston, piston rings, gudgeon pin and circlips, so the two components are correctly matched for compression and clearance. When the original cylinder bore becomes scored or worn oversize, or the piston or its rings wear down, the engine loses compression, often showing up as hard starting, reduced power, or excess exhaust smoke from oil passing the worn rings. Fitting a matched replacement cylinder and piston kit restores correct compression and proper piston-to-bore fit.
