Original Honda carburettor gasket fits Honda G100 engines, generators, lawnmowers. This gasket seals the joint between the carburettor and the intake manifold, keeping the incoming air-fuel mixture contained on its way to the cylinder. When it hardens, compresses or develops a crack, the seal at this joint breaks down and unmetered air enters the intake tract, disrupting the air-fuel ratio. The result is usually a rough or unstable idle, hesitation when opening the throttle or the engine becoming harder to start. Replacing the gasket whenever the carburettor comes off for servicing brings the seal back to spec.
