OLEO-MAC 947 952 Gasket Set

The Gasket Genius gasket set provides the two seals required at the top end of an Oleo-Mac 947 or 952 chainsaw: one crankcase gasket and two cylinder gaskets. The crankcase gasket maintains the airtight crank chamber this two-stroke engine relies on to draw in and compress the fuel-air mixture, while the cylinder gaskets contain combustion pressure at the cylinder-to-crankcase joint. Both are disturbed whenever the cylinder is removed for inspection or piston replacement, and once removed, paper gaskets no longer reseal reliably. Reusing them typically results in hard starting or a measurable loss of compression. Fitting this set restores a correct seal at both points.
