MCCULLOCH CS35 PARTNER 340S 350S 360S Stop Switch With Wires

This stop / on-off switch with wires fits McCulloch CS35 and Partner 340S, 350S, 360S chainsaws, replacing part number 574226401. The stop switch grounds out the ignition circuit when pressed, cutting the spark to the spark plug and shutting the engine down. When the switch sticks, its contacts corrode, or a wire breaks or shorts, the engine may fail to shut off when the switch is pressed, or in some cases fail to start at all if the circuit is grounded permanently. Fitting a replacement switch restores reliable, immediate engine shutdown.
