Carburettor adjusting grommet fits Hecht 947. Replacing part number 947000067. The carburettor adjusting grommet is a small rubber seal fitted around the carburettor adjustment screw port, preventing unmetered air from entering the carburettor body around the screw and keeping the fuel mixture settings stable during operation. A cracked, hardened or missing adjusting grommet allows air to leak into the carburettor at the adjustment point, which can cause idle instability, lean running and a tendency for the mixture settings to drift.
