.325 clutch drum kit fits Hecht 947, 957, Makita DCS500, DCS4600, DCS5000, DCS5001, DE5045 and Dolmar PS-4600, PS-5000 chainsaws, replacing part numbers 947000131 and 181223200. The clutch drum is the outer shell of the centrifugal clutch assembly — it spins freely at idle and engages with the clutch shoes at higher engine speeds to drive the sprocket and cutting chain. A worn or grooved clutch drum causes the chain to creep at idle, slip under load or fail to stop when the throttle is released — all of which are safety issues on a working saw. This is a .325 pitch drum — the sprocket pitch must match the guide bar and cutting chain fitted to the saw.
