HECHT 947 957 Chainsaw Oil Drive Pump Cover With Bolt

Oil drive pump cover fits Hecht 947, 957. Replacing part number 947000117. The oil pump cover is a plastic cap that encloses the oil drive pump body on the underside of the saw, protecting the pump rotor, worm gear mesh point and oil outlet from sawdust and debris during cutting. A cracked or missing cover exposes the oil pump internals to contamination, accelerating wear on the rotor and worm gear teeth and risking blockage of the oil outlet. Should be replaced as part of any oil pump service to keep the bar and chain oiling circuit protected.
