HECHT 947 957 Chainsaw Fuel Tank / Rear Handle Assembly

Fuel tank / rear handle assembly fits Hecht 947, 957. Replacing part number 947000161. On the Hecht 947 and Hecht 957 the petrol tank and rear handle are moulded as a single integrated unit, combining the fuel reservoir with the operator’s main grip and the throttle trigger mounting point. A cracked tank creates a fuel leak and fire risk; a broken rear handle makes the saw unsafe to control. Because the two components are inseparable, damage to either requires the complete assembly to be replaced. Fitting a new unit restores both a sealed fuel system and a structurally sound rear handle in a single operation.
