The flexishaft is the flexible inner drive cable housed within the outer tube that transmits engine power from the powerhead down to the cutting head or gearbox. A worn, kinked or broken flexishaft causes vibration, loss of drive or complete failure to transmit power to the cutting attachment. Replacing a damaged flexishaft restores smooth and efficient power transfer to the cutting head.
