The Tatra 603 is an air-cooled V8 engine with eight individual rocker covers — one per cylinder — each sealed by a cork gasket and rubber seal. When the cork gaskets dry out, shrink or crack, oil leaks at the rocker covers, leading to oil loss and contamination of surrounding engine components. Supplied as a full set of 8 to cover all cylinders in a single service.
