3X ZAZ MEMZ 965 VAZ Fuel / Petrol Pump Diaphragm / Membrane Set

The Gasket Genius fuel pump diaphragm / membrane set fits ZAZ MEMZ and VAZ 965 engines and is supplied as a set of 3 diaphragms. The fuel pump diaphragm is the flexible membrane inside the mechanical fuel pump that flexes on each camshaft pulse to draw fuel from the tank and push it toward the carburettor. When the diaphragm hardens, perishes or develops a tear, the pump loses the ability to maintain consistent fuel pressure, leading to fuel starvation under load, hard starting or the engine dying shortly after it fires. Fitting a replacement diaphragm set brings the pump back to correct working condition.
