Guide bar plate / washer fits 3800 (38cc) Chinese chainsaws and also Komatsu Zenoah, B&Q, Draper, Sanli, Sovereign and Powerplus chainsaws. The bar plate is the metal washer that clamps between the guide bar and the chainsaw body, transferring the clamping load from the bar nuts evenly across the bar mounting slot. When the plate is deformed, corroded or missing entirely, the guide bar cannot be secured properly this causes the bar to shift under load, creating uneven chain tension and the risk of the chain derailing mid-cut. Replacing the plate ensures a solid, stable guide bar mount throughout use.
