3800 38CC Chainsaw Oil Drive Pump Cover

Oil drive pump cover fits 3800 Chinese chainsaws with 37cc, 37.2cc and 38cc engines, including Komatsu Zenoah, Sumo, B&Q, Draper, Sovereign, Powerplus, Sanli, Woodfield and Trueshopping Raptor. The oil pump cover is a plastic cap that encloses the oil drive pump body on the underside of the saw, protecting the pump rotor, worm gear mesh point and oil outlet from sawdust and debris during cutting. This cover is specific to the 3800 (38cc) platform and differs in profile from covers used on the 2500 and 4500/5200/5800 class saws. A cracked or missing cover allows contamination to reach the oil pump internals, accelerating wear on the rotor and worm gear teeth and risking blockage of the oil outlet. Fitting a replacement keeps the oil pump assembly protected and the bar and chain oiling circuit free from debris ingress.
