MCCULLOCH CS35 PARTNER 340S 350S 360S Exhaust Muffler Bolt Nut Set

This exhaust muffler bolt and nut set fits McCulloch CS35 and Partner 340S, 350S, 360S chainsaws, replacing part numbers 574223001 and 588221201. These bolts and nuts secure the muffler to the cylinder’s exhaust port, holding it tight enough to keep the mating muffler gasket compressed and sealed. When a bolt or nut becomes corroded, stripped, or the thread gives out from heat cycling, the muffler can no longer be clamped down evenly, letting the seal loosen at the joint and allowing exhaust gases to leak past.
