The Gasket Genius complete gasket set covers Husqvarna / Partner K1250 and K1260 disc cutters, with one crankcase gasket, one cylinder gasket, one exhaust muffler gasket and one carburettor gasket included. The crankcase gasket maintains the seal needed to draw in and compress the fuel-air mixture; the cylinder gasket contains combustion pressure at the cylinder-to-crankcase joint; the muffler gasket holds exhaust gases and backpressure; and the carburettor gasket stops unmetered air upsetting the fuel-air mixture. Running at sustained high revs typical of a disc cutter, gaskets at all four points wear together, and a worn one left in place tends to show up as hard starting, weak compression, an exhaust leak, or a hunting idle.
