PATRIOT BP 41 Chainsaw Upper Anti Vibe (AV) Spring Set

Upper anti vibe (AV) spring / mount set fits Patriot BP 41 and many other chainsaws. Fitted at the upper anti-vibration mount, these springs isolate the top handle area from engine vibration, keeping the grip smooth even under load. Once a spring weakens, fatigues, or its mount perishes, damping at this point is lost, and vibration comes through more strongly at the top handle, sometimes accompanied by a rattling or loose feel where the top of the housing meets the engine. Fitting a replacement spring set restores proper vibration damping at the upper mount.
