SCHEPPACH CSP2540 Chainsaw On / Off Stop Switch With Wires

On/off stop switch with wires fits Scheppach CSP2540 and many other 25cc chainsaws. This switch grounds out the ignition system when pressed, cutting the spark and stopping the engine, with its wires connecting it to the ignition coil. When the switch wears internally, its contacts corrode, or the wiring frays or breaks, the engine may fail to stop when the switch is pressed, or in some cases fail to start at all if the switch is shorting the ignition permanently. Fitting a replacement stop switch with wires restores reliable engine shut-off.
