STIHL HS81 HS82 HS86 HS87 Gearbox Gasket

The Gasket Genius gearbox / gearcase gasket fits Stihl HS81(T), HS82(T), HS86(T) and HS87(T) hedge trimmers, replacing part number 4237 649 0300. The gearbox gasket seals the joint between the two halves of the gearcase at the cutting head, preventing gearbox grease from escaping during operation. When the gasket wears or is damaged during a service, grease leaks from the gearcase joint, leaving the gear train insufficiently lubricated and accelerating wear on the drive teeth and blade crankshaft.
