3X RENAULT 4CV Fuel / Petrol Pump Diaphragm / Membrane Set

The Gasket Genius fuel pump diaphragm / membrane set fits Renault 4CV engines and is supplied as a set of 3 diaphragms. The fuel pump diaphragm is the flexible membrane inside the mechanical fuel pump that flexes on each camshaft pulse to draw petrol from the tank and push it toward the carburettor. Once the diaphragm stiffens, cracks or develops a pinhole, the pump can no longer maintain the pressure needed to keep fuel flowing reliably, and the engine will typically respond with stalling under load, difficulty starting or cutting out when fuel demand increases. Fitting a replacement diaphragm set gets the pump drawing and delivering fuel correctly again.
