PATRIOT BP 41 Chainsaw Fuel Tank Cap

Fuel tank cap fits Patriot BP 41 and many other chainsaws. The fuel tank cap seals the fuel tank filler opening, keeping fuel contained while letting the tank vent correctly as fuel is drawn out during running. When the cap’s seal perishes, its vent clogs or fails, or the thread cracks, it can let fuel evaporate or weep past the seal, or fail to vent the tank properly, restricting fuel flow to the carburettor as the tank empties. Fitting a replacement cap restores a proper seal and correct tank venting.
